"A sincere thank to the USI Career Forum 2011 for having given to us - USI students – a direct contact with many banks and companies. As a Student Angel, I have created a closer relation with the bank entrusted to me. I've already received a phone call for an interview for an internship position in the field of Property management, the core of my Master. I'd like to add that Ms. Invrea and her staff have created a pleasant environment in those two days spent together. I've strengthen my relationship with other Master students from all over the world, whom I would never have meet without this occasion. I highly appreciate that, also for the fact that sharing a common experience when we are all in a foreign country is a very strong binding. I strongly recommend this experience to USI future students: it's a great opportunity for career and human development. ".

"I was Student Angel for Ticino Turismo, the organization I was most interested in, and it was an interesting experience. I met the person who is responsible for employ stagers and she gave me important information about how the organization works and its different activities. I asked more information to satisfy my personal curiosity, for example about the importance of some criteria used to hire people. She told me about the two important B2B (business-to-business) conferences they attend during the year and we discuss about the possibility to involve some Master students in the one which takes place in Lugano in the near future. I will for sure submit my application for an internship there at the end of the Master because I think it would really be a valuable experience for my professional career and personal enrichment.".

"First of all, thank you for having created an opportunity to meet the companies to which we are interested the most. For me, it was a chance to see the human side of many big professional realities that, from outside, could seem somehow a bit daunting! It's been very interesting talking directly with the responsible of the human resources, to satisfy some curiosities concerning the careers that we are hoping for after the studies. During my experience as Angel for Thema Consulting, I've had the opportunity to understand what a company really requires from future employees and which experiences and knowledge could help me to differentiate from other candidates. "The experience of pro-active participation at the Career Forum was very useful and interesting for me. As 'the Angel of WWF', I got to know better about the organization and its operation. I was very pleased to know that WWF is developing some projects in South East Asia, including Vietnam - my home country. I also had the opportunity to make contact with the Director of the European Alpine Programme - author of the small dictionary Lo svizzionario. Nevertheless, I found very interesting to visit other stands, submit my CV and have one-to-one meetings with some companies. It was really a great opportunity to know better about USI Career Service and its activities dedicated to students. Thank you for the excellent organization, for sure I will come back to Career Forum next year!".

"The participation as a Student Angel has been a beautiful experience. In comparison to the previous year, besides the greater participation of companies and visitors, I found an improvement in the organization and layout of the Forum. Being an Angel for Eco-Way at the Forum has been really exciting. The representatives of Eco-Way are very friendly. I am glad I had the change to have a closer look at a young and innovative company.".

"I have only positive things to say about USI Career Forum Day. The occasion taught me the importance of events like this one, which bridge the gap between academia and the world of work. There is very little I would change if at all. One of the benefits was that I built a network of new contacts with the press, radio and television. And these contacts I still use, months later, in my stint as an intern with a communication firm. USI Career Forum has also introduced me the editorial team of L'universo, a project which I am happy to have joined since.".

"I'm grateful to you for this very appreciable opportunity of getting to know better and close-up different and fascinating professional contexts.
It was fun acting as "Angel" on behalf of STRP; and I also enjoyed browsing around the various corporate stands.
I feel the experience was very useful; for example, I was able to leave my c.v. with a number of interesting potential employers.  Also, I was able to talk to those firms which actually end up recruiting staff. Not a bad idea to bring together so many firms and organisations on Campus in one go!:-)
